i beat this thing with 521 moves mate
well yours is impossible to solve but blatny's is possible because the idea here is very simple ;)
It's not that computers can't see triangulation. It's that they have trouble seeing 290 moves ahead outside of an endgame tablebase.
Probably engines with unlimited depth and infinite analysis can solve the puzzle comprehensively.

The same engines that solve the starting position you mean ?
Had a postion mate in 2 the engines can't crack it :$
Either the mate in 2 is not there, or you entered the position incorrectly (for instance, "forgetting" to mention possible en passant captures...)
