i guess the question take or not reffers to 1...Kxc6, well even if doesn't take it'll be checkmated on the next move with 1...Kd8 2Ba5#

so to answer the question it doesn't matter if it takes or not.

Nice mate... you have to play it off as if you made a mistake with the rook for black to take it...
