This is from my most recent game, and had to share it. White is one move away from being checkmated.
I just noticed 37. qg6 is an even faster mate by one move. Oh well.

I noticed Qg6++ as well, I kept trying it cuz I knew it was mate. Oh well. Still good tho. Black exposed his king wayyy too much.

After 1.Qe7+ Kh5 2.Rxg6+ Black can play also 2...hxg6 and it seems white is losing...
In any case, there is no forced mate in 6 in this position, not even in 9...

let me say something, 34. Rxg6 sucks, the right move is 34. Rh6!, that's a forced mate,i thought that was the solution but i saw you entered Rxg6 and yes, after hxg black is fine i think..., so the right move is 34 . Rh6.
hey, like i also commented i think the right move is 34. Rh6 and it is a forced mate in all variations.
i'll explain : (i made mistake about Rh6 it's Rh5)
33. Qe6+ Kh6 34, Rh5+!! <
33.1 ... gxh5, 34. Qf8+ <34.1A... Kg6 35. Ne7+ ,... Kg5 36. Qg7#
<34.1B.Kg5 35.Qg7+ Kf5 36.Qxf6+ Ke4 37.Qe5+ Kd3 38.Qe3#
33.2 ... Kxh5 34.Qxh7+ Kg4 (Kg5) 35. Qh4+ folloqed by Qxe6+ with the same mating pattern as in 34.1B.
PS. I took the liberty of adding (!!) to Rh5!! because i think it wasa very ellegant move. If anyone disagrees with this please message me and i'll read your comments.
THIS IS THE ONLY FORCED MATE VARIATION THE OTHER ONE LEAD TO PERPETUAL CHECKS AFTER hxg6... thanks very much
I agree, there is a forced mate after 34.Rh5+! so it's a mate in 7 ...
