I agree, Rf7 is a blunder, this is not a forced mate, and after Rf7 Qh6 is useless, better is to take f8 immediately and mating in the move thereafter

The biggest blunder is Bxd1, keeping the bishop on the c8-h3 diagional preventes this checkmate.
