The line that I posted in the puzzle is essentially the line, bigfish. 3. ... Qxe5 is not as strong as Qe4 if white just plays 4. Ra1.

Do you mean in the original puzzle, Narz? If so, then the rook is lost to black's bishop on the other diagonal with an even worse position -- 1. ... Rd1; 2. Ra1 Bxa1; 3. f3 Bd4; etc.

Oh yeah, right, I had a feeling that was a really obvious answer to that question but it was late and I didn't see it Embarassed (another psychological edge to having the finachettoed bishop I guess).
