I'm cheering for the Pittsburgh Penguins this year, as both Albertan teams got knocked out. I have an old Penguins jersey (in the old orange and black colors), so I feel like I have to cheer for them. Plus they are a great team to cheer for when I don't have a local team to cheer on.

Who are you cheering for this year?

Hi, don't know much about Hockey, as I am from Hong Kong.  But looking at this years Stanley cup... I think Washington look very good offensively, a bit fragile defensively, but they showed a lot of spirit today.  I think the winner of Pens-Caps goes on to win the Stanley cup. Do you think I am right, or have I just been caught up in the Ovechkin-Crosby hype?  Anyway, I like the Penguins and hope they do well, but Washington will be tough.

If Ovechkin get's neutralized (like Canada did in their game against Russia during the Olympics) Washington doesn't have much left. I still say Penguins are all the way.

Montreal.... I just hope they beat the Penguins and at least make it to the Stanely Cup... Pittsburgh is a good team though, don't get me wrong.

I am pulling for Montreal. Pens are ok with me though. My west conference team didn't even make it...

Probably, but you could've said the same about the Caps. I don't know if they can hold up though, having to go through multiple seven-game series- on the other hand their job can only get easier.

I lived in Texas a while so my west conf. team is the Stars. Used to be able to give Detroit a run for it, now they're faltering after some blunders in the front office.

Edmonton clearly got knocked out this year from illness and bad management, and Calgary got eliminated by bad play. That's why I'm cheering for the Penguins myself, and if Montreal does win, I'll cheer for them.

Wow.... Montreal has to win their next two games to go to the Stanely Cup.... Don't know if that is in their grasp. Who knows just depends on how they play...

They came from 3 games behind against the Caps. You do have to wonder if Halak can keep it up though.

Totally agree with that, as for Vancouver, It is just one team that either Montreal or Pittsburg has to worry about...

    Go Canadiens!

For Sharks vs. Blackhawks for Western Div. Champ, I say Sharks in 6.

So the matchups for the finals look like this:

Flyers vs. Montreal for Eastern Title

Sharks vs. Blackhawks for Western Title

I say Montreal in 7, and Sharks in 6.
