hey. last night in bed I thought up a neet idea. what if chess.com made a backgammon branch. it could be exactly the same just backgammon instead of chess.

it's almost the same as checkers, depending on the variation of draughts you play.

not so. English draughts is another name for American checkers. Other variants of draughts such as international draughts are slightly different, yet the same concepts apply. Look here if you don't believe me:

The pieces look a little bit the same, in draughts you get what is called a crown when you reach the back rank with one of you're draughts, and then it can go backwards as well as forwards.

that is the exact same in checkers, only it's called a king not a crown.

wow. yea if you get a checker to the back row it becomes a double stacked "king" wich can move backwards. is that the sme in draught

Yeah you put a extra draughted on. And it's called a crown.

yes I would like to see Backgammon.com as well, should be interesting....

btw there are many variations for checkers/draughts, as mention earlier there is international, losing/givaway checkers,diagonal checkers,Italian checkers, Spanish checkers, etc. etc...

Chess is way better than backgammon. Just my opinion.
