Tigers, dude, Tigers. Some folks, sometimes, call 'em the Bengals.
Never heard anybody call 'em the cats, though.

The Tigers would whip 'em all. Even the Tigers.
I will be going to see the Albuquerque Isotopes on my next work trip.
Have seen the Minnesota Twins (metrodome), Houston Astros, St. Louis Cardinals, and some other minor leauge teams on such trips.
Also have seen the Thunder in OKC and the 2nd round of NCAA championship (University of Northern Iowa upset over Kansas Jayhawks).
In other words, the first thing I do when assigned a road trip for work, is check the local sports calender.
Fenway Park and AT & T Park are, of course, vacation stadiums.
Also, I have seen great games at lower levels and yawners at the upper level. You just have to be in the right place at the right time.
right place at the right time is just it. i've seen some great games at dodger stadium and been bored to tears. i saw finley hit the GS to clinch the division in 2004 'gainst the giants. saw manny's famous GS a couple of years ago on his bobblehead night. saw nomo go yard against the yankees. and i've seen many many more that left little impression.
Speaking of the right place at the right time:
In '07, I was working in Racine and Kenosha, WI. I was tickled this particular week because the Brew Crew were playing the Tiggies in Detroit and I got to hear Euk announce the games.
In one of the games, Bill Hall drew three walks against Verlander, and that was it. It was the first of Verlander's many no-hitters. As you may imagine, I was all excited and happy; then the phone rang. I couldn't hear much of anything other than roaring, but I knew the phone call came from my cousin. I was a bit puzzled, but had an idea. Twenty minutes later, he called me back, all sorts of excited and out of breath to tell me about the no-hitter he and my brother had just got to watch.
Me and my brother, and my cousin frequent games together, if one of us is goin' at least one of the others will tag along. I'll never forgive those bums for that one...not to mention the Justin Thompson near no-hitter thrown against Seattle in '97 that they went to when I was working.
At least I'll always have Game 5 of the 2006 division series when bonderman befuddled the Yankees to lord over them.
As a Cub fan, my fondest memories of baseball games include looking at scantily clad women and betting on how many times per game Soriano will stike out. But Prince Fielder might join the team next year, so we've got that going for us.
Oh yeah you would go for the chicks Mark.
Hate? Do you despise the tornado victims in Joplin, Mo? Are you sickened by the arrogance of cancer patients? Do you trip the smaller students as they walk to class?
Going back to prices. I bought my triple A baseball ticket today, right behind home plate, for $21.05, in Albuquerque.
This same ticket would range from $65 - $135 and up at other ballparks I have been too.
The caliber of play will be lower than the majors, but maybe 10 years from now I can say I saw so-and-so hit a dinger in Albuquerque.
Hope they have good beer there and not cheap and disgusting miller, budweiser, etc. etc.
What would a Dodger fan consider "good" fans? People who beat opposition fans to death?
You need to go to Wrigley, dude. Wrigley is awesome!
Plus, Kerry Wood in his prime! Hack Wilson, the 5'6" brick shithouse! 191!
Zambrano does act like a two year old, though, so there is that.
Did I mention Wrigley?
No, no, those patient folk who can wait until the eighth before taking off, "to beat the traffic."
You are clearly off your meds tonight. Tell your Mommy you need to go to bed now.
