McCourt and Selig should have punch each other in the throat.
Baseball Reminisces
I see Victor Martinez has picked up his annual stolen base. Yesterday's stolen base was the 4th in his 10-season career, and he has now had 1 in each of the past 3 seasons. Ah, well, they didn't hire him for his legs.
A bum:

Atleast his overall batting average is above the Mendoza line. I've seen him hit a Grand Slam too...
A couple of the cool things from this season:
Pittsburgh | 51 | 45 | .531 | .5 | 25-23 | 26-22 | 373 | 360 | +13 | Lost 1 | 6-4 |
and, last night:

Braves vs Pirates Tuesday night after 19 innings an ump makes a "questionable" call and the game ends. Not surprisingly fans are pissed, but was it "the worst call in history". I replayed the video and I couldn't tell if the player was safe or not.

So what do you think was the "Worst Call in Baseball History"? If you can find a link to the video post it too.

Not the worst call in history as this partially depends on the magnitude of the game (See 1985 world Series, not sure if it is in your link). But, it was clear the umpire wanted to go home.
1985 Cardinals/Royals World Series: I don't think Denkinger ever lived that bad call down.
Last year's no-hitter that wasn't, by Armando Gallaraga, had a pretty egregiously bad call by Joyce. It was a regular season game by a couple of also rans, though, so I wouldn't put it in the same category as the Denkinger blown call.
Was it Doumit behind the plate? Maybe he was having visions of Buster Posey and Ray Fosse running through his head?
Granted, Julio Lugo is no Charlie Hustle.
Looked out to me.

One just can't expect a Japanese fella' to be able to outdance a latino.
Sort of like the 4-hour jury deliberation after O.J.'s 9-month murder trial.
somebody should punch mccourt in the mouth
