Hi bishop bashers from around the globe,

I got an idea for a new thread. After getting engrossed in the great Beatles debate, I realised what a bunch of music lovers we all are. I got an idea!  Lets post our favourite music videos and live extracts on here and compare. The Americans are gonna be good at this. Personally, I think the Brits are the best but our charts are clogged up with cheese on toast 'i love my baby and my baby loves me so lets dance' crap. Whereas, in my experience, you guys have got it going on. You seem to love a screaming guitar, real musicians making real music. Its probably too difficult to pick your absolute favourite, but lets all have a go and see what we come up with. How about this for starters.

Are you Doctor Who? I only ask because it seems that you have access to a time machine.

Would you take self-serving music files?

I have some self-composed guitar screaming tracks.

I was jokingly alluding to the fact that the kind of music you described doesn't top the U.S. music charts anymore.

As far as singles, digital and otherwise, are concerned, it's all hip hop, r&b and pop (which is what it's euphemistically called in the U.S. when white kids sing hip hop and r&b.)

Bruce Springsteen's latest is at the top of the CD charts--reflecting the fact that kids don't buy whole CDs anymore--but it doesn't get much airplay.

Radio Nowhere, good stuff. I get the impression that people in the U.S. are more into rock music than us Limeys. I suppose in  multicultural society you will get a mixture of music, which is probably a good thing. There is some some good indie music in the charts in britain but the mainstream radio stations dont really play it.

Poptart, a bit late maybe, but I'd love to hear your screaming self composed tracks.
