I have seen some short video clips of Bobby Fischer when being flown from Japan to Iceland (about 3 mins.), but this is part two of three 8 or 9 minute videos of him and his views of what chess has become, recorded on that flight. He did say "I hate chess..." in this clip, saying as well that it had become all about memorization and pre-arrangement, with creativity further down the list. He discusses as well his ideas behind 'Fischer Random' and talks about the chess of Morphy and Capablanca, who he believes would possibly be outplayed by current-day 'master' level players.
It's a great pity looking at the man in these videos, and seeing what he had become, but politics and personal stuff aside, he makes some very interesting comments on "what chess is all about"... I hope you find these clips as fascinating as I did. It's well worth the download.

Interesting. Thank you for sharing this. A very sad indication of what became of the man.
Thanks. 150 years ago, as Bobby Fischer said, the best players astounded crowds with 'novelties' and big piece sacrifices. With all the theory, in-depth analysis and computer aids these days, it just doesn't happen, the game has been "played out". GMs these days are looking for the tiniest edge with which to create a win, and let's admit it, it doesn't make for very exciting chess.
Further rare videos and photographs of Bobby in the Philippines are viewable from the following link, which also shows some of the rare memorabilia from his collection, which ended up being sold in flea markets and on the internet without his permission.
