I wonder if any of you chess fans can help me. I need some advise from a Trekky and since we are all a bit geeky, with our chess/computer penchant (hope I used that word in context), (and didn't offend anyone), I thought I might get the help I seek. During a conversation with a friend recently, our subject matter veered from booze to chess to breasts to football to Radiohead and finally, to Star Trek and ear styles. Now, although I must say that I always enjoyed the original cast and stories, I cant remember much about it. My friend said that apart from the fact that Spock had rather long pointy ears, Captain Kirk himself had an ear quirk, actually sporting three. I told him he was most certainly wrong, and made a wager of £50 just to make it more interesting. Can any of my chess pals either confirm or negate.

Ps. personally, I go for the landing strip!

Thank you v much

I dont know about funny ears or final front ear.    I do know that a young captain Kirk, well before he became Admiral, once went aboard an alien ship in disguise. The disguise LOL, was, wait for it...............................spock like pointed ears. You might have got your £50.00 Tony what do you reckon.

It has come to my attention that Hunphrey Bogart could actually see through his ears. Well, he made a comment in the film Casablanca that would suggest this. any id-EARS?

A pub landlords dog was accidentally run over by a car.  Unfortunately , it was killed and the force of the impact severed its tail from its body.  It was buried along with its tail, but in heaven found it very uncomfortable because the tail wasnt in the right place.  The dog was informed it could return to Earth for one night as a ghost in order to ask its owner to re-bury it in the correct manner.  Not wanting to scare the punters, the dog returned to see its master in the early hours of the morning.  When it put its request to its master he replied:...

Come on TonyGas supply the next line.

I read in the news recently that two Irishmen, whilst working on a demolition site, were involved in an accident and one of them, Seamus, severed his ear. Anyway, at first they couldn't find it because it was lost in the rubble. They searched and searched for hours, and were about to give up when Seamus' trusty colleague, Murphy, shouted "Seamus, Seamus, I've found it!" Seamus walked over to Murphy to examine the ear and said, "No no Murphy, thats not moine. Moi ear had a pencil behind it!"

Lol.  A man was watching two Irishmen working.  One dug a hole.  They looked at each other for a minute, then the other one filled it in.  This was repeated over again until he could stand it no longer and asked them to explain.  'To be sure, the fellah that actually plants the trees is off sick.'
