Ha rich. Well regular home bred cats and dogs, the cat would because the dog would be a tiny thing and i'm sure not that strong.

If you got a cat say weighing 14 lbs and a dog weighing 14 lbs, I think the cat would win.

From the feline family comes leopards, lions, cheetahs, jaguars, tigers, lynx, including domestic cats etc.

From the canine family comes wolves, foxes, coyotes, jackals, let's include here domestic dogs, etc.

if the dog is a husky, a hound, or any wild dog it will win.If it is a poodle, no. A beagle will still win if its mad enough. Ceberus kills the the Nemean Lion (another of typhon's,the greatest monster, children)even though it has indestroyable skin. Ceberus just bights his eyes out. A hellhound, a large dog from the underworld,still can beat the Nemean Lion. Tame dogs lose to wild cats do to lack of fierceness and abundance of belly fat. If wild vs. wild, dog prevails.Tame vs. tame is the same.

I have 3 dogs and 3 cats, they take turns beating the crap out of eachother, but not once has MY cat lost, the other two have though. I would have to agree with newchessboy on this one though. we have wild dogs around my city and wild cats(both of domestic and feral background)one them he dogs tried to attack me once, it wouldn't back down.

I will go for cat because they are also a part of the big cat's family such as lions,cheetahs,leopards,and jungle cats.Hey just because cats look small does not mean that they will loose to dogs.Don't judge a book by its cover!
