sharp cheddar is the best. i get spreadable sharp cheddar from the wisconsin cheeseman every year. DELICIOUS!!!! however there are probably as many different cheeses as ther are different kinds of people on this site-whats your's?

My favorites are Provolone, Asiago, Romano, Longhorn Colby, Mozzarella and Ricotta! AND PARMESAN!!!Laughing

Oka chesse with apple slices hmm... But Brie is my staple (warm in a sandwich and it's a pure delice). I can't say no to goat cheese either!

Oka cheese sounds great! I saw about it on an online encyclopedia, and its description made it seem to be delicious! I'm on the lookout for oka cheese now!!Smile

i don't think you can get goat cheese in New Zealand I cant say I've ever seen it. But my favourite cheese is Camembert. yum yum Laughing

My mistake you CAN get goat cheese in new Zealand Ive just never seen or tried it.

Feta in salads, Mozzerella with tomatos, and the ricotta in lasagna are all great.

 My hands down favorite is extra sharp cheddar, esp. when it is the last thing put onto a hot meal and it just starts to melt. Delicious.
