The other day I saw the most recent poll about Chess 960.  I had never heard of it, so I looked it up.  I came across a website to play it on, http://www.chessos.com.  If anyone here was wondering what it was or wanted to try it, visit the site.

I don’t like any kind of chess variant. But there wasn’t a selection for that on the poll.

I guess I’m a chess purist.

its definately interesting.  I actually think it may be helpful for real chess.  you are forced to think in new, tactical ways and it challenges you to react to your weak positions and exploit your opponents' weaknesses
