My current job is not going to permit me the pleasure of chess anymore, and I might close my premium account soon.

Some of you guys out there (I dont know who) are using my themes - I am very glad of that - but as soon as my premium account will close the themes will disappear - so I would highly recommend you people to copy my themes and use the copies - dont say I didn't warn you.

Copying process does not copy the backgrounds and logos - you will have to copy them separately and put them into the themes of your liking - the logo especially is difficult to copy as you are not allowed to right-click (dont ask me why) - so they are given here for your convenience:

People not interested please ignore this posting (I know the themes are not very good, but some people are using them - I just dont want to suddenly make them themeless. Please dont post unneeded comments - I am not going to reply to them).

Thanks for your tolerance.

I am sorry to hear this. You kind of belong to the inventory of Terminator! You will be greatly missed!

But, I can imagine your decision well. I don't have to much yime for chess too.

I wish you all the best in your new job and maybe you will have more time in the future!

I'm just curious, I'm not arguing with you, but do you know for a fact that the themes disappear from the other people's pages once you close the account?

I ask this because the following happened to me:

I was using a theme, and I liked it, so i decided to see if that same author had made any more. So I searched for themes made by him, and the one I was currently using did not appear. So either I made a mistake (which I don't believe happened, but I'm far from perfect, so that could very well be the answer), or the author deleted/edited the theme I was using, but without affecting my theme in any way (until I changed it obviously). Just asking for a clarification here, thanks!

RyanMK, here is the deal.

(1) You make a theme for a group. A secret copy of that theme is stored in chess.com, and the group theme will not disappear if your theme is deleted. But if anybody even enters the page to edit (but does not edit) the group theme, the group theme (with no original theme to refer to) is immediately destroyed.

(2) Somebody uses personally any of the theme you created without copying. I think a secret theme is also created here, but I am not sure - the users of the theme may start seeing a themeless page (default theme) as soon as the original theme is deleted, or as soon as the user enters the page to edit theme - I am not sure.
