I had this dream in which a groups of thugs, men and women, were burglarizing my home. I ran out outside, called for help, and immediately a police woman arrived and rushed into the house. My dream ended when she hopped out bound in rope.
and then ...
lol... i once had a dream that i was in my house and take that (pop group)
came around for lunch, when they came in they were holding a rope... and it had turned out someone had hired them to kill.... :S
i woke up 'with the rope around my kneck' lol
thats it
I had a dream were someone attacked me on the road at the top of my street, and when I was fighting him he pulled this knife out and cut my hands with it, then I got the knife off him and stabbed him in the heart with it. And the dream ended when I was running home.
I had a dream when I was kidnapped by the Joker.
lol ... i have loads of crazy and weird dreams...
i once had one someone chopped my head off and i was still walkin just without a head... crazy
walkin' without a head makes more sense than, rich, first getting a knife off someone and then stabbing them in the heart - WOW! what did you use? your teeth?
yea lol
I recently had a dream where I had 3 completely different weird dreams one after the other (it would take too long to explain each one but they were all very crazy). Then I "woke up" and it really seemed as if I had. I was on the sofa and my sister and brother were on the other one. One of my sisters children had woken me up and then ran out of the room. My Dad was on the other side of the room facing the wall and on his side. My sister asked if I was going to thank my brother for winning the Oscars. I did so but then everyone laughed. I then mentioned the other dreams and said I thought this might be a dream too because of what my Dad was doing. My sister laughed and said she could'nt believe it had taken me so long to figure out. I asked why it was so real and she said I must be sleep walking and that I should wake up so I don't hurt myself. I woke up. I had'nt been sleepwalking.
sister, brother, nieces or nephews, Dad, Oscar, sleep walking, and fear of progress - this could be fun to link with a Freudian analysis dealing with repressed family expectations i.e. your Dad had his back turned to you and you were dealing with sleep walking i.e. progress toward some objective but you woke up before you could actually do the sleep walk
have you considered developing the plot a bit more and then offering the synopsis to Stephen King?
One a had a dream in which I knew I was dreaming. I could control what I was doing. Grinning mischievously I thought about doing things that I wouldn't have to face the consequences of. Of course right then I woke up.
well done Kevindubrow your innate morals are in great shape!
Now how could I fix that...
Kevindubrow, what needs fixing? - all seems pretty good to me
I am very big into dreams but will not post anything of them here. That said for those interested by dreams who would like to take them further but have never tried, give the mentioned below a go on a daily basis and see what happens. Repitition is key..
Keep a dream journal and write upon waking. Make mental note before falling to sleep to recall dreams as well as to question yourself when you suspect you are dreaming (is this a dream?). Upon noting you are in a dream look at/for your hands and ask for *clairity Now* and have fun with the lucidity that follows.. There is much more but I leave it at that.. Happy travels (;
Aramista- I have genuinely thought about writing a book of short stories myself of all of my dreams. Obviously no-one would buy it but I would have fun writing it. The one I mentioned was about a 2 on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the craziest dream I've ever had. The worst one was when all of the lines in the world (ie everything, since everything is made of lines) started coming apart and coming to get me (I wonder what Freud would say about that!).
Knatted-I have tried keeping dream journals, the only problem is when you wake in the middle of the night. You can't leave it till morning or you'll forget but then you have to turn a light on and can't get back to sleep.
I have only once realized I was in a dream and been able to do what I like (usually I just realize and then wake up), it became quite sordid, quite quickly. ;-)
this is cool ... loads of different dreams
Knatted and Amnesiac you both have great ideas - recognising that we do have options to manage our dream states for our and others good is the first step the next step is developing the determination to use rational steps beforehand to go further ...
is anyone around a Silva Method graduate ?
