IS RONALDO THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD AT THE MINUTE? I think he is an amazing player, he has great skill and when on the ball he can create some magic. he is amazingly good at what he does.

Hard to tell. Sure is one of the top players of the world. The best? I think this is quite subjective. I would hire Rooney rather than Cristiano Ronaldo for my team.

I must say that I am one of the biggest Man Utd fans and without being biast I ahve to say that Ronaldo was by far the best player in the world last season but his team spirit could be questioned. Manchester United have many good players most of which are better 'team players' than Ronny but I still hope he continues to play for Manchester United for many seasons to come. Cool

He's alright I suppose, Dean Ashton for West Ham is 10* better but you know ronaldo still has room for improvment...

I think the European championships showed up exactly who is hype and who is the best in the world.

Ronaldo did not show up for the championships which was highlighted by the particularly poor show put on by Portugal.

On the other hand cesc fabregas showed just how good he is amongst world class players, whilst Torres was the cream of the crop striker wise.

In truth, I don't even think Ronaldo is in the top best three players in the world, never mind the best.

Look,

There are four maybe five good teams in the premiership, then there is a second and third tier of teams.  So out of thirty eight games last season, he was up against quality opposition maybe 6 to 8 times.

The European championships, he was up against good teams every match and he was found wanting.

Nuff said.
