Different cultures on Chess.com

There was discussion in another forum concerning what is considered acceptable speech on this site. This reminded me of my father telling me that 500 m.(approx. 850 km.) in any direction from where you are, you will find people who look the same, but act and speak differently. So when in Rome do as the Romans do.

I looked at a map and drew a 500 m. radius with my home as the center. Within that circle therein were the cities of New York, Chicago, Toronto,Can. Just to name a few. Each with similar but unique ways of life. The Amish of Pennsylvania, and the hillfolk of Kentucky. Also within that circle were Native American communities, upstate NY and rural W.Va.

Since Chess.com is a global community, how many cultures lie within your 500 m.(850 km.) radius of home?

I live in a major metroplex location.... I would venture to say that my area is a microcosm of the world as a whole. I would think that the cultures represented would be measured in the hundreds.  Especially if you consider that some nations have several cultures within them.

It's actually 50ft. in any direction, and they're called "Christians".

So, I can expect an IP address on a adjacent subnet there are people who look like me, but act and speak differently.  Cool. You can find me here... 192.168.0.8

Five hundred miles is a ridiculous amount of space. I have people from different cultures here in my home.
