RILEY MARTIN IT IS!!  HE is the BEST!  I just hope they keep underpaying him (in his opinion) -- his rants are absolute radio gold (well, satellite gold).

jason bourne doesn't hold a candle to sean connery in the james bond 007 films with his suave sophistication and great accent! i did love the magician:apprentice character pug from raymond feist's series, however i think gandalf in lord of the rings has more charisma. brian the dog in family guy is funny, but i believe stewie's character is much funnier and more machiavellian. other than that, i believe we share similar taste in those venues.

True, but the borne character is imo a realistic representation of what an elite assassin/spy would be like. I have some knowledge of military tactics and the movie mostly rang true to me.  James Bond is not supposed to be real, its more a bit of fun. (Although the latest edition seems to slightly more resemble reality - but I believe that this is in imitation of Bourne)

Haven't read lord of the rings (!)  I couldn't get into it. I have seen the movies, but I prefer Pug. In the latest two series (conclave of shadows and darkwars) Pug is really becoming the ultimate one. Additionally he displays great wisdom and a relaxed social manner (charisma)  I like gandolf too but I think in a fight with pug, he would just get owned.

brian the dog in family guy is funny, but i believe stewie's character is much funnier and more machiavellian.

Yeah I like stewie too. and its a hard choice between them. I guess I more identify with Brian ; I'm dry, introverted and I think too much.

Have you seen this -  Stewie and Brian at the emmys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HrzKyopCls4

Seth McFarlane is a genius

TV: Stephen Colbert!!!!!!!!!!!! and JON STEWART!!!!!!!!!!!

Movie: Captain Jack (PotC) anyone from Monty Python's Holy Grail

Books: Silk and Belgarath (Belgariad) Christopher (Everworld) Mat Cauthon and Lan (Wheel O'Time) Dumbledore, the Weasleys (Harry Potter) So many more...

Machinima (look it up, watch it, love it): Caboose, hands down (RvB).

Comics: Calvin and Hobbes, King Steve and Black Mage (8-Bit Theatre) Jason (Foxtrot)

And Chuck Norris...

Never has so much awesomeness been contained in a single post.

P.S. I've read Magician: Apprentice, verdict: Mediocre, though I understand the series gets much, much better.
