Yes, welcome to the best chess site on the web. This is the place for people who love the game and art of chess. I've only been here a short period of time but the folks here have taught me so much. Just make sure to read the forums because there's a lot of good analysis and game improvement posts. You'll learn a lot from the good people here. This is the chess place to be!

Thanks guys!  This is a wonderful site! My first complete game was won by timeout :( How dissappointing, the game was only about 4 moves old so I deleted it.

That happens, but all in all, few games offer such a chance to learn from one's mistakes. This site will offer you great information regarding rules, etc. I'm sure your next game will go much smoother!
