Which do you prefer:

Bad Religion, the Descendents, the Damned, the Subhumans, Black Flag, or the Misfits?

If I only have those to pick from, Subhumans definitely.

Fugazi are the best punk band ever.

If we're doing best ever (boy, talk about subjective) I've got to go with a mid 90s hardcore favorite: the pist. 

I may catch some heat for this, but I think Hot Water Music gives all the old school bands a run for their money.

I just say this based on live performance... it was probly the best I've been to in along time.

the Damned if I am to pick from the suggested list of bands but listening to The Clash is a modern version of Time Travel for a grumpy old geezer as yours truly.

Oh, I forgot to put the Clash and X on that list.

Ah, the Clash.  I've rediscovered them lately, and been listening to London Calling nearly nonstop on my way to and from work

Pft. Kids, don't you know punk rock died in the 70's? Also Bad Brains were the best punk band ever, assuming the Ramones as a proto-punk band. That's just an objective truth.
