Hi people, I got some fun questions for you guys!~ It is a test to see the flexibility of your brain~ Oh by the way, please don't use a calculator... or the internet... Hope you enjoy theses~ "Hints at the end"
The first question: What is sum of all whole numbers from 1 - 100 (Inclusive)?
If you want to make it harder, what is the sum of all odd numbers from 1 to 1000 (Inclusive)?
The Prince of Math used 30 seconds to get the answer... (I used about 1 minute )
Question number 2: you have 50 squares which are all the same, if you placed them into a straight line, how many rectangles can you find (Including the squares)?
To make this interesting, use 100 squares~
Takes for ever to count them all, think of them as... I will use the hint at the end :D
Question number 3: You have 6 equal lenght sticks, how do you arrange them into 4 equilateral triangles end to end? "End to End" means one stick must connected to the end of another stick. (You can have one stick have one end connected to the others, the other doesn't need to. remember, only 1 of the sticks, the others must connect together. :D)
Hints:~
#1, try to do 1 - 10 first, you may get the trick~
#2, try to do a few simpler ones which is using 3 squares, then 4 squares then 5 squares~ It helps a lot!
#3, try using something to hold the sticks together end to end so they won't fall off, this takes care of the end to end problem. :D
Thanks and enjoy~
