He's unknown to many who are reading this but if you're at least 40, and maybe younger, you probablly know the name. Although he was too crude for some, anyone familiar with his comedy would have to admit he was one of the most creative comics on the scene. I'll miss him.
Also anyone younger would probably know him as Rufus in the Bill and Ted films. I have also seen some repeated bits of his stand-up work but not much, although I found a lot of it very funny.
RIP George.
I'm 20 and am a big fan of George. Comedy today wouldn't be the same if it wasn't for him.
He was also in Dogma which is one of his latest movie roles. He played the Bishop who pitched "Buddy Christ".
