In the US, the average height of a man is approximately 5'10" (The same height as I am, coincidentally. But I am at about the 86th percentile for US women.).

If we are trying to guess your height, let's start the guessing out at 5'5"?

But we also have to remember that height is a continuous distribution, not a discrete distribution.
