 How can you play on a screen that small?

 

I put it in for five minutes on Tuesday night and played a little campaign. My son has played some on-line. Perhaps this wekeend it'll get some more attention.

Never really liked the halo games, just a repetitive shoot-em-up. But my friends have gone nuts for this game so I might try it out...

Im not a shooter type of guy, i prefer sports/racing/rpgs, and I dont play on 360 so no Halo for me...

If you play multiplayer online matches there is nothing at all repetitive about them except the maps, the play never gets stale when you're competingwith other people.  As first-person shooters come, Halo 3 is among the best ever made.  The campaign mode can be a little repetitive when you have to backtrack through levels, but over all it's a ton of fun. 

Anyone who wants to team up with me, my gamer tag is C Kookies.  I prefer to play with people who are over 25. 

completed the campaign the other night and have been collecting skulls and playing 4 player coop online on legendary

Just how good of a console is the 360? I read that Microsoft expected many repairs due to major flaws with the unit.

 

I once traded a friend over holidays my PS2 for regular XBOX and got home only to find out it did not work. It turned out he to had to send his to Microsoft for repairs due to a cretain flaw which he was told was happening with lots of units. Now my PS2 has all been but submerged under water and it works just fine after 6 years. Yet I want the 360.. Is it dependable?

 

Knatted, I believe Tim 944 is talking about his 360.  They have the ol' "red-ring of death" problem...if you don't have a 360 or know how they operate don't worry about it (i've already returned mine as well for this same problem)...

 but did you frend not tell you the xbox wasn't working before you traded or whatever the deal was for the ps2?  If he didn't tell ya that's not very "friend" like.

I must admit I'm not the best shooter but I am an awsome driver in any vehicle but the wraith tank (too slow and unreliable, even with boost). I'm not bragging, if you could ask my friends, they would say that.

My 3 favorites are the chopper, mongoose, and the elephant. When used properly, the elephant kicks ass.

p.s. If you want any stunt tips just ask, stunts are my specialty. I suggest Valhalla for warthog/mongoose stunts and Sandstrap for everything (try getting the elephant to flip over, then move close to it to pick it back up. Read what it says on the screen, its hilarious)

I joked with him about that but he assured me it worked fine the last time he had it. He's a stand up guy and one of the better people I've ever worked with so I beleived him.

 

 

So this Red Ring Of Death is common? Iwas hoping that mabey with the newer units the problem would be solved. Doubt it will deter me from not getting one in the near future but I want to know more about that before buying one.

Sorry, I meant Xbox 360. I hope the 360 doesn't experience any more problems because they've had quite enough time to iron out any imperfections for all the new units being shipped out. I heard that the 3 red lights (what I had) was a hardware failure as opposed to the 4 red lights which is heat. Also, I heard that the 3 lights was more common.

halo 3 is awesome i beat and multiplayer rocks.

i was at best buy the other day tempting to buy the xbox 360 and halo 3 but i thought its not worth it

almost 500 dollars, or even over it

but i might get it around christmas or something
