Just wondering if anyone has seen Young Guns 2... it happens to be one of my favorite movies alongside The Patriots which takes place during the revolutionary war. Young Guns 2 is basically about Billy the Kid and his later life leading up to his ultimate death, or so they think. A man named Brushy Bill Roberts, at the age of 91, claimed to be Billy the Kid (in 1950), and whent to court to get off the hook for all of his crimes, but they never believed him, although many facts point in and against his favor. The world may never know if he was telling the truth, although the movie is great

My favortie quote from Billy the Kid was "I'll make you famous" which he says as he points his gun at a mexican servent, urging him to fight with Billy, a fight he cannot win.

Interesting story about him and the Lincoln county war. The wild wild west!

I'm most certain Billy was killed though the old friendship between him and Pat Garret  does leave room for the possibility of a faked death.

We'll never really know

Love this film.  Young Guns, Young Guns II (look out for the cameo appearance of Jon Bon Jovi), Tombstone and The Unforgiven are really the only modern westerns that stand up to the classic spaghetti westerns.  There's always a tear in my eye when Chavez Y Chavez dies.
