Im playing chess (June 2010) 1 yr for now. Do u think Iv improve alot?

    Yes. Although your starting rating is a bit low. Though I assume that live chess is a little bit more difficult than turn-based.

    I improved in 3 months from 1150 to 1450 and hope to become 1600ish (turn-based) before september :).

    well, i was just reading chess books, analyzing masters games and my own games, solving chess puzzles, play live chess.

    You did improve a lot but it's not like you went through anything difficult. With some basic chess knowledge ANYONE can make it past 1600.


    Indeed; anyone can get to be almost as good as RoseQueen, because if you're below RoseQueen then you're an idiot. However, once you make that skill increase that puts you above RoseQueen, then you no longer have a life.
