Hey guys, question. When ARthur was losing the battle blah blah blah he pulled out a sword and blinded his enemies.
heres the question, which one was it?
Excalibur?
Excalibur wasn't the sword in the stone!!
Compleetely different!
Nope, you need to watch King Arthur film from the 70s! His father got it from the "lady in the lake".
Yep. Arthur got it from the Lady of the lake when he smashed the sword of the stone on one of his future knights. i think that it was pellinore.
Anyway, which father you talin' bout? Ector or the king?
No his daddy (the king) got it from the lady. But he squandered its power and on his death he stuck it in the stone for Arthur (who was sent away for his safety to be raised by peasents) to draw later on. Many of the newer versions of Arthur cut this bit out.
It's a nice story hence the reasons there are so many versions/interpretations out there.
You seen the latest film?
Whats it called? There are a few out there.
