Just wanted to know if there are any other martial artists at chess.com, and if so, which martial art do you do? Post it here!

I've been out for a while (moved to a place with no gym) but I used to train brazilian jiu jitsu and muay thai.  I've competed in serveral submission tournaments and one mma fight.

I studied judo for nine years, but had to give it up when I got serious about music. Each of my sensei's fingers had been broken at least once, which doesn't bode well for a guitarist.

I tried viet-vo-dao a few years ago, and I always thought chess was related to martial arts (don't you try to put your opponent off-balance ?).

Cool! yes, martial arts is somewhat similar to chess in terms of attacks and counterattacks, just most of the time you don't have the luxury to think as much as in chess. I've done mizongyi for almost my entire life (the better half of my life), I also started up taekwondo about 3 years ago, and have recently received my blackbelt Smile
