Has anyone seen "Molly" about a young lady who has autism her whole life, had a experimental surgery proformed, became a genius, and her immune system attacked and she went back to being autisic again. Based on a true story.
Never heard of it. Hard to believe someone could become a genius, even momentarily, through surgery?
Yeah they (the surgeons) drilled a hole onto her head and did something to fix. Her brother was against the idea but was talked into it, it had a happy/sad ending.
Ah yes! The old, "We'll just drill a hole in her head to cure her." I think they did that to JFK's sister? Really.
The Kennedies have sure had their deal of misfortunes for sure.
Flowers for Algernon?
Is that a movie? Did you like it, or not?
I think so. Just #148 reminded me of it.
Trysts how do you feel about Ted Turner coloring some of the old movies he owns?
Is that why his marriage to Jane Fonda folded?
No, I don't like anybody messing with the great cinematographer's works. Do you like it?
Stay in this thread where you're safe, Sharon
I didn't know I was in danger, electricpawn?
The Hessian was showing aggression!
I have pepper spray
To answer winerkleiner question..Jane Fonda got divorced from Ted Turner because she had become a born again christian and he did not like any religious type issues.
No I agree with you, they should leave the b/w movies as is. They were made with the technology of their day so leave them as they found them. They even messed with little Shirley (Temple). Shame
Hmm nice to know, thanks!
I apologize for not wading through the pages to see if anyone mentioned this, but how about David Lynch films?
I must admit, I don't really mind if they mess with Shirley Temple films, the Mickey Rooney/Andy Hardy films, the Three Stooges, the Dead End Kids, or the Marx Brothers films. Sorry
I don't believe anyone mentioned his films thus far, jason17. I am quite the fan of "Mullholland Drive"(2001), myself!
