A great documentary to watch would be The Last Lions by the National Geographic Society -

National Geographic always shows lions killing other animals. It's sad to watch for me.

Yes tryst, you are correct, this one has a scene where the Lion cub's back was broken from an attack...the Lion tried to coax her cub to walk...she eventually walks away leaving the cub behind...all the while the wounded cub crawls toward her only with his two front paws, dragging his broken hind legs behind him, crying for help from his mother...this one scene had me all teared-up...and I will never forget it.

This was filmed in Africa by a husband and wife team. They also caught on camera (first time ever)...a scene where a Tiger hunts a family of monkeys, manages to kill everyone, except a newly born baby which is seen on the ground. The Tiger approaches the defenceless babe...and to the surprise of everyone, instead of killing him, he nurses him back to health throughout the night...no one could believe this.

Not a movie, but I am hooked on the very clever BBC America series Orphan Black - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=do_BCA-vR9E

Girl is overloaded in acting talent, big movie future ahead.

Thank you for warning me, jesterville. I could never watch that.

That's so strange about the baby monkey and the lion?
