seeing as poetry has become popular hear i figured i would see how the first poem im getting published does.

Dead and Gone

We take many things for granted,

as ive always heard.

But the one thing we take the most is life,

even a common nerd.

We go through life,

living and never thinking.

"What if i were dead and gone?

Lost away or sinking."

We here about people dying,

and we say "thats so sad."

Then we go on not thinking,

what if that were my dad

You only get one life,

so live it while you can.

Because one day you'll be dead and gone,

every woman, and every man.

There its fixed so if you dont like it be honest but dont be rude and if you like it say so thanks!!!

Mysterious Maiden and the cryptic cadence.
