maybe add a "side trip" to another contiguous or nearby country in the meantime? you could check it off your list. (with only 29 from Comoros and 2 that have been by in the last 2 months, idk...)

Well here we are with another summer definitely over and I am still attempting to tour the world via electronic chess games. I am approximately half done; although if I continue to be introduced to countries  of which I've not previously been cognizant, the trip could last another two years. Hope to see you in the lists.

Tour guide's supplemental log tourdate 09292011:

According to the most recent count there are 240 countries in chess.com and I just recorded my onehundred, twenty-first tour partcipant.  Half done.  Many Carribean countries left --once beach weather is over I'm confident denizens of those warmer climes will play. ( After all, who living in St. Thomas or St. Croix would play chess on a computer when he could be at the beach with one of those umbrella drinks?)

I hope you realize how difficult this post makes it to take seriously.

Well, I should hope no one takes me or chess too seriously. After all, it's not world peace or a cure for cancer; it's only a game I'm not especially good at.
