I believe that we in new zealand are the first place in the world to celebrate both cos we are the first to see the first sunlight on new years day in gisbourne on the east coast!..so i guess thats where id start..
nah , New years day is at midnight at my house 5....4...3...2...1.... HAPPY NEW YEAR ! ! ! lol
I believe it is Russia as they stretch aloooooong way.

Life is ONE big PARTY. just mingle
Really
I think it is Japan because it is known as the LAND OF THE RISING SUN!

dude do u know why they call it the land of the rising sun??? not a good topic to talk about really, quite sad...
imwith that GavinH PARTY PARTY PARTY!!!!
I was going to say japan at first but I looked at some maps and it is either Russia or Kiribati, Little,Tiny actually, island country
i know kiribati islands is part of micronesia aswell as fiji etc...
gisbourne on the east coast of the north island of new zealand is the first place to see the sunrise..
i live 4 hrs away from there and right now its 12:16 just after lunch on friday 19th december...
ok
but wea to after that hehehe
I think it is China. Cuz some dude call new year chinese new year. but i'm not sure if it is China.
according to astrology the chinese hav 1 of the most accurate readings of the new year as do the maori people but even then they actually celebrate theres months after every1 else dude,so i guess thats where im gonna end up partying last, awesome!!!!!
uncle its 11:20pm!!! 40 minutes till xmas!!!!!!!!!
11.46pm
i think it might be something like norfolk is
New Zealand is definately the place it all begins - Fiji changed there Daylight Savings to be the first place to see in the Millenium but history will always record NZ as having that honour. If you were to try and celebrate as many New Years as possible you would have to fly fast - but in reality your best bet would be celebrate here for a good few hors then catch some sleep on a flight to Hawaii where they really know how to party and do it all over again
