Hello, I am considering using Playchess.com, since I recently got ChessBase 11. Has anyone here used it? I couldn't find any helpful forums online, and I'd like to know about it.

It's a simple interface for playing chess. It may or may not be important to you, but it seems that a vast majority of users log in as 'guest' and do not have a rating. If you are interested in playing  people of random strength it's great. I've got it pulled up right now annd the only challenges I see are unrated games. I personally prefer playing live here on chess.com because you can be sure of the strength of your opponent and monitor your progress. 

Okay, thanks Chess_Patzer. So it doesn't have neat features like here on chess.com or ICC or anything?

Well I can't say anything about ICC since I haven't used it. I just think about the features some have and typically here they got those features plus some...nice interface too! Yahoo and redhotpawn are pretty homely ha ha ha. 

i used it when i bought my shredder, until my time ran out and then just continued on the sites i regularly play on.  i mostly did engine matches over there, anyhow.  it's pretty cool.
