No. The bishop could not get to the corner without two moves of check on the king; unless the pawn was in the way. But if that was true the pawn would have caused check last turn. Of course if they don't spot illegal moves you can play on; so I suppose it is legal.

Would you kill someone that you know if it would save two people that you didn't know?

it depends if the person i know is someone i like, because if they are mean then i would sacrafice him to save two possibly nice people.
