I thought it was absurd, a ridiculous idea. What has friendship got to do with speed? Yet now... somehow it does have a certain truth to it.
I think we sometimes get so carried away by trivial things that we have no time left for the really important things in life.

That's wrong because I take life slowly and I don't have that many friends. I'm only fast on a running track.
