REMEMBER WHEN... getting high meant swinging at the playground, watching the garbage truck eat up garbage was fun; dad was your best friend, your worst enemies were your teachers or your siblings, race issues was who ran the fastest, war was a card game, the only drugs you knew was cough medicine and the only thing you smoked were the tires on your bike, the only thing that hurt was skinned knees and the only things that could get broken were your toys. life was simple, care free, but what i remembered the most was wanting to grow up.
Diffrent illusions :
I knew that I'll be grown up and a diffrent person. I didn't like that person. It would be a no fun young adult that would need to make a start in life. Really no fun. Climbing up the plumtree was more fun.
Turns out it took a bit longer than expected but preserved the child inside.
Ah yes those days totally rock. When I see little kids toy fighting especially. And having fun in general I think phew I was like that !
