What makes mothers so special?

What makes the Lioness so special is her ability to be a caring mother and a primary hunter of her Pride. 

A Polar Sow is special because during her hibernation in a den, she gives birth to a cub without even knowing it but still she mothers the cub as if she endured the pain of birth.

Last but not least...The Woman. She has the same natural mothering instincts as  any other animal, but what makes her special is the ability hardly seen in any other mother. A love a strong as a woman's love gives her the ability to sacrifice herself if a child is ever in danger without a split second of hesitation. 

So lets remember all the mothers in the world, including the one we all share...Mother Earth.
