   If you lived in Britain you wouldn't be asking why.  You make a good point though.  As the writer I have failed to convince.  You may have queried here because the name Susan Boyle is unfamiliar to you.  Before the show no one in Great Britain except her friends, neighbors and relatives (and the unemployment office) knew who she was either.

   It is simply the most inspiring story of 2009  so far.   Just don't want to give away the plot.  Watch this on U-Tube and you may decided to see it several more times.  It is truly a triumph of the human spirit.  I will say to you personally (being from Omaha) that when this lady went back to her church on Sunday the congregation gave her a standing ovation.
