The greatest quarterback of all-time

Statistically it's Joe Montana. But my Indiana upbringing tells me Peyton Manning is the bees knees.
There are a lot of Great quarterbacks to consider. The best one now playing is Peyton Manning in my humble opinion, who is a certain Hall-of-Famer. There have been a lot of great ones. Joe Montana is certainly right at the top as is Steve Young, John Elway and Brett Favre. Earlier Players like Johnny Unitas, Roger Staubach, Bob Griese, Bart Starr, Kenny Stabler, Y.A. Title, Sonny Jurgenson, and Joe Namath deserve consideration also. In the past 20 years I would probably agree with Joe Montana. The trouble is it is hard to compare quarterbacks of different eras, because playing conditions were different.
Not Dilfer? Eric Hipple? Ummm...who was that big, tall southpaw who threw sidearm? Oh, yeah, Scott Mitchell!
Good lord what the heck is this doing in a chess site for heavon's sake?
It's just a debate. That's all.
Jerry Rice.
He was the greatest NFL player who ever lived. The greatest WR, not QB.
Nobody ever loves the linemen. Bruce Matthews!
Who is the greatest quarterback of all-time? Mine is Joe Montana. Let the debate begin!
