At last the warm weather has arrived on Long Island, NY!  We broke 70 F today!   It was so refreshing to finally crack open the windows and breath in some fresh air!  I wasn't able to do anything outdoors, though, as it was a late day for me.  But I made the best of it by pouring myself a glass of whiskey and tuning into some bluegrass music via Bluegrassradio.org (Bluegrass music is the best for warm days ).  I only wish I had time for a BBQ. 

 

Alas, cooler days return for the foreseeable future, but today was a much needed respite from the cold!

 Yes; it was real nice up here in Central New York state.  we finally hit the 60s; nice breeze, blue sky.  it's been a rough few months weather-wise so yesterday was nice.  I heard there's a chance of snow in a few days; though.  what part of the Island are you on? Part of my youth was in Wantagh.

I'm out in Suffolk, near Smithtown.  I don't get into Nassau much, but Wantagh is a nice area.

 

Alas, the cold weather has returned, but there is a possibility of a return to the high 60s tomorrow. 

It snowed today here in Iowa.  Wow, is this cold weather getting old.

We had a 63 F day here.    Lots of T-storms, though.
