It's the weekend!

I plan on playing with my kids, reading "The Nether World" by George Gissing, checking my games on chess.com, and Sunday morning is reserved for football.

Anyone else got any nice plans?

I may be working on an article for the paper... hope not though. I'll watch a movie ("The Count of Monte Cristo" from Netflix), maybe start on another Doug Adams book and if I'm lucky I'll get in some hockey practice or go down to the local chess club and play a few.

Work in the morning. Then i'm playing chess for Shropshire U125's against Staffordshire in the afternoon. Then i'm off to the gym if i've got time.

Dismantling and storing the pool for the year. May be cut the grass, too.

Take the boy to the park for some fun. Read, read, read.

Usually, we find any reason to go to New Orleans, but this weekend, no plans to meander the French Quarter.

My favorite part of the weekend is some nice family time with my wife and daughter.  I'll also certainly spend much time on this site and follow the baseball playoffs. 

 After some chess moves, starting a Fall crockpot dish. Then off to work for 4-5 hours. Return home and go for a nice mountain bike ride in the cool but crisp Fall air,umm... Invite a couple of friends over for supper. Spill the wine and play some chess,,,both here and live!  Yippy!!

I am playing in the online chess tournament.  I am also going to church Sunday.
