My girlfriend and I will be spending a few days in Prague in the coming weeks and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for things to do, places to go, good restaraunts (we're both vegetarian) or cafes, bars, beers, etc. Ideally I'd be looking for things you wouldn't find in guidebooks, but more tourist oriented suggestions are also welcome.
I've never been to Prague so I may be speaking out of turn ... but I'm almost certain they play a great deal of chess in the cafés; there's loads of Czechs there most evenings.
