Time in chess online

I know that to win due to time is not the same as to win your opponent by checkmate or by resignation.  But some suggestion to this webpage would be that these two ways of winning will be credited equally.  I have seen already two cases where the one losing a game simply decides not to play and lose by time (not by resignation or checkmate) and then the score the winner gets it's poor (just 4 points, instead of more).

    What do you think?

The score when winning on time is exactly the same as the score when winning by checkmate or resignation...

mmm.... i posted like this because i have seen in my own record two people.  In one case it was a tight game and the second it was clear that i was wining and i received just 6 points of score.  You can check my record.  Opponents: one from India (dinu007) and the other Starforx7
