I haven't seen anything about such a feature mentioned.  Even if it could be implemented a lot of posts would probably still go unflagged, as so many people don't type the exact full account name correctly when they do mention someone (missing uppercase, or dash instead of underscore, or include letters but leave out numbers at the end, or use a nickname or abbreviation, or just plain misspell, etc.).

An artist dear Ryan has to be open minded because he must be able to see what others can't, otherwise he is not an artist. You don't have to know what to paint , you have to feel it , if you don't , better forget it , you are only foolling yourself.

Do you paint nudes?  A serious question.

    I am not a painter .

Well, I am, so I think I would know, so. And, the reason I haven't posted the fourm yet, is because my painting hasn't gotten back from the art show yet, then, it will be on display at a local store. I'll see if I can get a snapshot of it, and post it with some other works of mine. Most of you won't be invited though, no reason, but I really just don't like most of your comments. By the way, I will NOT be posting a link on here, just sending messages to my FRIENDS. If you want to see it, YOU MUST BE MY FRIEND, or else you will be restriced from seeing it.

The point Ryan is to let all see them and then deal with critiscism either good or bad because art will ultimately prevail no matter how bad the critiscism is.An artist must be willing to expose himself to the public dear Ryan , that is what art is, otherwise go hide in a cave.

Learn to withstand bad comments and bad critiscism. That will make you a better person and a better artist.Letting only those that you know that will say good things see your paintings is a clear indication of your insecurities. If you were sure about yourself you would be able to confront any comment, good or bad , with confidence.

Um, Michael, I am starting to reconsider how much compliments you will be willing to supply.

I can, I just don't want all the idiots flooding the forum, like what happened here. I don't want that to become the next CPOTM.

I can contront any comment, just some people don't know how to control their mouths.

you couldn't even control yours while you were in the CPOTM's threads..

It has nothing to do with complementing you or not.You are missing the point.

Art is for all , not for your friends , if you are not willing to share it with all then simply you are not an artist , you just pretend that you are.If you "touch" people with what you do their bad comments will only be your best prize.

Does it matter if your friend says how good your work is?Wasn't he going to say it anyway? Are you even sure it's true?

Let people do bad comments , some of them will help you be better.

Are you proud of what you do?Are you?Don't answer to me, answer to yourself , but if you are you have nothing to be afraid of.

Yes, and everyone knows all artists think exactly alike.

Say, aren't you that same guy that thinks he's a King's Indian expert with his sub-1000 rating?  Or was that some other know-it-all?

From what you have said, I am reconsidering an invitation. I thought you were all for it, and was a friend, but, I guess that is out the window now. Are you in a bad mood? Because I already know what the first line of the forum is: "Leave your attitude at the doorstep, because I don't care for it." Like I said, if you have a problem with me, send a message, I usually reply of the same day.

Simple, quit being so sarcastic. I'm not trying to be rude, but too much is a bad thing. We can be friends, but we just can't be friends for you to get acess to the forum. Also, stop with the religious persecution.
