I guess jobs are not important when you play the game.  I'm actually a doctor (radiologist) in a small town, and I guess I'm also a minimum wage earner when compared to first-world jobs.  Embarassed

Residential counselor in a half way house for people with drug and/or alcohol issues.  I work overnights so I don't have to deal with most of the drama.

Chartered Accountant (or as the Yanks would say, CPA) with clients in the entertainment business, the prison service, and large-scale Physics research establishments. Not yet on minimum wage, but the way pensions have been cocked up here in the UK, shortly to be so.

I am in the middle of a one year MBA at the Pau Business School here.  At 51 I am probably one of the oldest MBA students in the world!  I worked in a bank in India all my life and when they offered an early retirement option I grabbed it.  I earn a  meagre pension now and survive on my savings. I have a lot of free time now to read, travel, make friends and play chess.

But first-world prices makes the minimum wage probably quite lower than yours, comparatively...

I'm a philosophy student.

Smile  You're absolutely right!  Everything equalizes somehow, sometime.  I guess you're really a philosophy student.

My professors would have a field day with practically every aspect of that argument.  In case you haven't guessed it, I'm a student studying economics and international relations.  Although, I also build barns and riding arenas to pay my way through school.

I work in a pea factory. We freeze peas.

Glad there's only a couple of weeks of the season to go though, utterly sick of looking at (and smelling of) peas.
