what other fun games are there to play?

Okay, a while ago i bought a computer graphic card.
It was before i became a chess player here.
Now i realize that chess has become kind of an addiction.

I like the strategic intense battles on the board.
And most of all the human aspect you cannt predict.
Each attack is quite different, chessbase doesnt come even close to it.

Chess is not like playing the other games like for example dune (shown below)
In which people find a trick so you get through the levels easily.

Now that i became a bit addicted to chess no other games seam to be able to compete with it, perhaps you know something as good as tactical as chess.
I'm not into shooting games, or pointless games like civilization.

Sudoku and bejeweld where also nice but isnt as good as chess, and neither required that heavy 3d Card. Perhaps there something else out there a bit tactical maybe a bit exploring or so .. i'm not realy into the game scene.
But maybe you had the same and found something cool.
