Which one is worse?

Sup everyone

I was asked a question on sunday and the question was which one is worse: getting stuck in a room flooded with fresh diarrohea with no air vents, you're whole family dieing or getting assasinated?

Both sounds stupid ! ,i'd rather get assasinated

I was surprised how highly you were rated, given this question. 

However, I think questions like these have more value than people may first think because they allow a person to think about and express their hierarchy of values.

I would consider the worst scenario to be my entire family dying.

I would consider an intermediate scenario to be being assasinated.

I would consider the least bad so to speak to be the other choice.

My reasons are that I value human life.

I would value my life more than the alleviation of temporary pain and suffering via assassination. Any value from alleviating pain and suffering presupposes that I am a life, and hence is a derivative value of my life.

I would prefer to die than to have my entire family die. I cannot value my family unless I am alive. However, provided I am alive, I can value and compare value and my family would be my second hightest reason for living.
